We could contribute to this kind of work.  We have already been doing 
this kind of weak signal stuff on LF.

For example, a good VHF SSB receiver, a DF antenna and a notebook 
computer plus some operating procedures could help to find HTs in a 
collapse.  This would be a nice capability in the AMRAD van.
