Hello all, I am back from the South Pacific all rested and ready to get
back to work.

Has the parking problem at Tippy's Tacos been solved?

I missed this PBS show but for my travels during April, I just happened
to take along Gordon, John Steele's book: A Thread Across the Ocean.

It was a very interesting read about a major engineering effort that
history seems to have forgotten. It is a good example of how one person
with a personal mission stays on the problems and eventually solves
them. Historians should remember this accomplishment along with
engineers that encounter problems and get discouraged.
